SK invited to ESL One New York

SK Gaming have been invited to compete at ESL One New York, the event's organisers have confirmed.

The Brazilian giants are the fourth team confirmed at the event, joining Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro and FaZe, who were all previously invited.

SK, the No.1 team in the world at the moment, recently finished third-fourth at the ESL Pro League Season 5 finals, in Dallas. They will attend DreamHack Summer, in Sweden, this weekend, and the ECS Season 3 finals, in the United Kingdom, next week.

The IEM Sydney champions get invited to ESL One NY

ESL One New York will take place from September 14-17 at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn. Four more teams will soon be announced for the tournament, whose prize fund and format remain unannounced.

No you make it sound bad, their most recent results are cs_summit Spring, IEM Sydney (beat the shit of FazE who was super hyped and better ranked atm) and 3rd place at ESL Pro League S5 Finals, only losing to eventual winners G2. all in all, facing harder opposition and scoring more points than any other top 10 cs team in CSGO. your welcome

Its my recollection that SK was moved to #1 on the 11th of June( feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). IEM Sydney was 05/03 to 05/07 and cs_summit was April with few good teams. Even though they were knocked out by the winner, they got out of groups 3-2 with round Dif. worse then nV's. Why now? If judged by those results they should have been #1 in April-May, not June after getting 3-4 place.
