Teams for DH Malmo Asia qualifier set

The Chinese closed qualifier, featuring 17 invited teams, was topped by ViCi, who beat LGD and Flash in the final two stages without dropping a single map in the process. 

Elsewhere, 32 teams battled it out in the East Asia qualifier, which went according to script for the most part. The biggest surprise came in the form of MVP Project's elimination at the hands of YETTI, who would come up short against The MongolZ in the final despite taking the first map of the series.

Machinegun's TheMongolz will fight for a spot at DH Masters Malmö

ViCi and The MongolZ will join invited duo Immunity and TYLOO, and four other invited teams in the regional qualifier, which will run from June 23-25.

The tournament will be played in a single-elimination bracket, with the semi-finals and the final being played in a best-of-three format. Only the winner will secure a spot at the $450,000 event, taking place from August 30 to September 3.
