Portugal and B & H will play again

The last match in the qualification to ClanBase NationsCup XII was played on Sunday, seeing Bosnia and Herzegovina defeating Portugal 2:0. Due to a flashbug, a third map will now be needed to determine the winner.

Bosnia and Herzegovina won the match against Portugal, where overtime was needed to determine the winner on inferno. Due to Bosnia and Herzegovina had used a bugflash, two rounds was withdrawn and given to Portugal, meaning inferno was won 19:17 by Portugal.

ClanBase rules states:

"Any sort of map bug exploiting is strictly forbidden and will result in +-2 rounds (2 rounds withdrawn from the abusing team and given to the abused team).

Abusing flashbang and/or HE grenade bugs is not allowed and it will always result in punishment."

Portugal and Bosnia and Herzegovina will now play a third and all deciding map to determine, which of the two, will advance to the ClanBase NationsCup XII group stage.

The winner will drop into group D, with Russia, Denmark, Ukraine, Switzerland and Slovakia. The match is to be played very soon, possibly Tuesday.

IMHO, even though it is probably biased, I think they made the right decision. They just followed the rules.

That's true, but they reported bug flash like 10 hours after the match. It's bug flash, it should have been reported right after the match, so if proven guilty, teams could have played 3rd map straight away.

Some more complicated are not, and they shouldn't be, but flashbug should be reported straight after the map has ended, and it takes like 3 mins to check demo, and to see if it was bug or not. It's as simple as that.

on lan the tings would have been diferent, the B & H have the beter connection and in inferno was a tight match, in dust2 or inferno portugal have good chances.

Yes you are sure, on LAN would have been different, Portugal would lose even harder since they suck. There is no country in the world where Portugal would have better ping, so no point in whining about ping. Ping was pretty fair, maybe 5-8 difference in average.

Any CS team in the world would do the same thing. that's the thing i hate about CS.. when somebody looses a match and then it's all protests and trying to win not by playing, but this :S ... because of some flashbug Portugal won a match... it been like a 4 second bug not a whole match handicap but they still won because of that... Not like i care about the match but kinda make me angry that rules are so stupid mostly :)

Breaking the rules by bosnia didnt get the match for portugal. 2 Rounds were substract to bosnia and added to portugal. If bosnia had won 16-10, it would be 14-12 so bosnia win anyway.

They were not disqualified, they broke the rules and therefore lost the match by forfeit. That's not the same as being disqualified. It's noones fault they don't know the rules and want to play the game.

Admins should really take a look at this thread... Portugal lost, and will probably lose again. BiH just plays better than Portugal, that's a fact. :( But rules are rules and if some of you guys don't like rules simply don't play professional CS. That's a fact aswell. :) Now if SK or mTw reported this same bug I wonder how many of you would still be here complaining (or whining o.o) about the rules. Probably no one. So let's just enjoy those portuguese so called superstars losing again and pray so that portuguese CS take a huge refresh in the next year and they get back in better shape. :) Good luck both teams

So yeah,if Laquila's FB really did help Bosnia it would be ok to withdraw 2 rounds but it didn't change a thing,Portugal won the round !
