Tainted Minds lose two

Tainted Minds have announced the departure of Jay "liazz" Tregillgas following Christopher "dexter" Nong's decision to step down from the active lineup less than a week ago.

Further changes have been made to the Australian roster, as Tainted Minds have not qualified for any offline events for the past five months since their last international attendance, where they achieved a top four finish at the ESEA Season 23 Global Challenge LAN in January.

As a consequence of their struggles, Christopher "⁠dexter⁠" Nong revealed on TwitLonger that he would be taking a break from the competitive scene and "will be re-evaluating his options", but remains under contract with the organisation. In Jay "⁠Liazz⁠" Tregillgas' case, the player hinted on Twitter a few days ago that he would be leaving, as the organisation confirmed his release today.

Mystery surrounds the next move liazz will take

The squad were seen using their current coach Fergus "⁠ferg⁠" Stephenson, former Winterfox player Mike "⁠ap0c⁠" Aliferis and ex-AVANT GARDE player Dylan "⁠kyoto⁠" Brown, to fill in for their recent online matches in AOC CyberGamer Premier League, ESEA Premier Season 25 and Australian Esports Masters Season 1.

To be honest a new team needs to be formed anyway, especially considering guys like Emagine are free agents. Emag could literally be the best Aus player outside of RNG. He's no flashy player but he's very reliable. NA should have grabbed him, CLG could use a replacement for cutler ;) Otherwise Liazz and Emag could be a good combo.

Damn they had a decent lineup Tainted+Ex-Winterfox, wonder what was happening behind the scenes?? Some decent free agents in the OCE scene atm. Yam, Liazz, Dexter, Emag, Raz, Zewsy.

Since going to Tainted the team hasn't really had all that much success so it isn't all that surprising that the team would have people leaving it now. From the amount of people who are free agents at the moment a shuffle seems pretty likely with some pretty decent teams being possible.

Hope with all the commotion in the AU scene we can get another team like 2015 VOX/RNG. Doubt it however, most lkely just gonna be shufflingeveryone to no hope of a real team.
