ESL national champions to compete in MDL

The ESL national champions will be given a spot in the ESEA MDL in Seasons 26 and 27, and the league will be expanded from 24 to 27 teams.

ESL has announced that its national leagues will feed into the ESL MDL, with five countries divvying up slots in seasons 26 and 27. The league will also expand, as three new slots will be created to accommodate the influx of new teams.

PENTA won the $50,000 MDL Season 24 Global Challenge LAN, in May

The leagues that will afford teams spots in the MDL will be the ESL Premiership in the UK and the Mistrzostwa in Poland for season 26—which is also the season Virtus.pro will make their debut in the league—and the German Meisterschaft, French Championnat National, and Spanish Masters in season 27.

1 from ESL UK (UK Premiership)
1 from ESL Poland (Mistrzostwa Polski)
4 from ESEA Main division

1 from ESL Germany (Meisterschaft)
1 from ESL France (Championnat National)
1 from ESL Spain (Masters)
4 from ESEA Main division

Spain is skilled. The problem is the low mentality, poor dedication and not enough money to 100% play cs. For example mixwell was on gbots with no salary. Something that is changing. Now al most the whole scene (tier 1/2 spanish) can live playing only cs on national level. Also we dont speak english fluently, so its difficult to a spaniard go to another country to play. Lowel 4 example is still learning english, but he has improved a lot. If it wasnt for the lenguage barrier, we probs would see 3/4 spaniards playing on t2 teams. Thanks to ESL, Spain is improving and playing better cs, due to professionality. Hope we will see "soon" (1 or 2 years) a strong spanish team. Im Sure KPI will show their talent on Dh Valencia, as old gbots (kairi, lowel, mixwell) showed on Barcelona Expo

Dont like. For example the winner of the ESL Meisterschaft will be BIG (already Pro League), after that Plantkey and Attax are already in MDL so the spot will go to pretty much a random team here. Same in france where WySix and Epsilon, 2/4 finalists, are already in MDL. UK spot is watet too, just give it to the best ESEA Main teams.

Why you even would give benefits to a few scenes? I guess in scenes like ukraine, turkey or every country in Scandinavia have much more talent than germany

Promotion spots should be like 2 Swedish teams (4 Major title) 2 French teams (2 Major title) 2 CiS region teams (no major title but good at legend spot holding xd) 1 Danish team (1 major) 1 Polish team (1 major) 1 German team 1 Benelux team 1 UK team 1 Spanish team 1 Portuegese team 1 Turkish team 1 Balkan team 1 Nordic team (Finn, Norwegian, Iceland)
