On one of the media days ahead of the PGL Major Main Qualifier, we got a hold of Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu and quizzed him about his struggles in the past seven months, as well as the move to TyLoo.

Following Luis "⁠peacemaker⁠" Tadeu's departure from Liquid in late 2016, the Brazilian coach has had a fair share of struggles, trying to find his place in the scene and going through three lineups in the span of seven months.

After his most recent endeavour with Misfits ended in shambles within weeks, peacemaker has moved on to a new challenge in the form of coaching TYLOO at the Main Qualifier and ESL One Cologne.

On the second media day of the qualifier, we managed to get a hold of the 29-year-old and asked him about how he has dealt with the struggles after leaving Liquid and how it affected his self-confidence. He naturally also discussed the TYLOO move in-depth and explained what his role will look like considering the language barrier in place:

Yes ofc With him Liquid went to the major final with him Tempo Storm won CEVO Gfinity Season 9 finals. with him misfits went to the semis of dreamhack tours.

I think his way of coaching doesn't fit NA's teams. Would like to see him moving to EU and coaching teams like Penta

Yeah, we're aware of why this is happening, it's a very easy fix, but re-rendering takes a while with an interview this long in full HD. Anyway, the fixed version will be up in ~30 mins.

good guy, hope the best for him!! <3 for sure the valve rule changed everything... with him slowly getting used to not being the main igl, and go full analyst and support, he can be the best coach! zews is more mellow and got used to it faster, but peacemaker is great. hope the best for him and to tyloo, those guys are humble and really cool, with someone helping them aproach t1 cs, they can be great hope the best for all of them!! ps: the audio is fucked up =P
