ImAPet and CLG part ways
CLG has announced that the team's Head Coach Chet "ImAPet" Singh will be leaving the organization, as the tactician has decided to pursue new opportunities.
Chet "ImAPet" Singh joined CLG over a year ago, at first helping out Faruk "pita" Pita as an analyst, but progressed through roles and was, up until today, working as the Head Coach of the team. In a release the organization put out today, they made public that it was the interest of other teams that lead to ImAPet's departure.

This is what the CS:GO Development Coach Mike Schwartz had to say about ImAPet leaving the team:
"Chet is one of the greatest strategic minds I’ve had the pleasure of working with. His knowledge and dedication to the game are second to none and I’m confident wherever he goes, he will be able to elevate that team’s play to the next level. While it’s unfortunate to see him leave, I truly appreciate all the work that he’s put in over the past year to bring our team to where it is now and wish him the best in the future."
Mike Schwart will be taking over as the interim coach of CLG at DreamHack Valencia while the team looks for a new coach.
ImAPet also put out a statement on his departure from CLG:
"I've been with CLG for over a year and it's been filled with nothing but great experiences. I've been with CLG since the team was at its lowest point to the team it is now. CLG as an organization has grown as well. Since the introduction of Matt, our esports director, our lives have become much easier. So thank you CLG for introducing more structure into the organization and caring for the players."
"I am happy with what we’ve accomplished, but not satisfied. I still have the same goal in mind, which is to produce the best NA team that can compete internationally and consistently in majors. I hope to continue creating healthy and productive environments in future teams, with the knowledge and experience I’ve gained from my time at CLG."
ImAPet's next team is unknown at this point, but is expected to be announced soon. In the meantime, learn more about him, his coaching and road to success by reading our interview from DreamHack Open Summer 2017.
CLG are now:
Pujan "FNS" Mehta
Ethan "Ethan" Arnold
Stephen "reltuC" Cutler
Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland
Kenneth "koosta" Suen
Mike Schwartz (interim coach)
