RFRSH to comply with WESA's multi-team ownership rules
RFRSH Entertainment has agreed to comply with WESA's multi-team ownership regulations, the esports association has revealed.
Under these rules, which were introduced by WESA on March 14, different teams competing in the ESL Pro League - currently the only WESA sanctioned tournament - cannot be completely or partially owned or controlled by the same organisations.

RFRSH Entertainment currently represents three Counter-Strike teams, Astralis, HEROIC and GODSENT, all of whom will compete in the next edition of the ESL Pro League.
"RFRSH shares the same vision as WESA and its Members to help further professionalize the esports industry,” RFRSH Entertainment CEO and Founder Nikolaj Nyholm said in a statement.
"We are taking the necessary steps to comply to WESA’s rules and regulations and are excited to work alongside WESA and all of its Members."
WESA added that, since RFRSH's multi-team ownership preceded the association's mandate, the Danish company has been given an 18-month grace period to come into compliance with the new set of rules.
The news comes just 24 hours after RFRSH announced a €7.2 million capital injection along with plans to host live events, with more details to be revealed later this year.
