PENTA crush Liquid in the first match of the second round

PENTA beat Liquid without breaking a sweat, 16-3, on Mirage, to get within one win of a spot at the Major.

The match started with PENTA making their way to B, planting, and defending the bomb thanks to doubles by Paweł "⁠innocent⁠" Mocek and Kevin "⁠HS⁠" Tarn. The European team then went on to win the anti-ecos, but it wouldn’t stop there. PENTA abused Liquid, picking players off left and right with a particularly stellar duo of HS and Miikka "⁠suNny⁠" Kemppi leading the way, forcing the North American squad to take two timeouts before ten rounds were even played.

HS was a dynamo in the early rounds of the match

With 12-3 on the scoreboard, Liquid really needed to win the second pistol round, but HS with three USP headshots denied the North American side an A execute. From there on out it was smooth sailing for the European team, who went on to close out the match 16-3.

Ofc Sunny is better, but i would say that he is ar same lvl with HS, and better than zehn and krystal, but it doesnt matter, cuz they are winning as a team.

HS is looking PHENOMENAL right now on Penta. But it looks like Team Liquid came into the qualifier with little preparation for teams like Penta and more preparation for teams like G2, Cloud 9, and Immortals. I hope they step it up these next 2 days.
