Germany pull out of NationsCup XII

ClanBase NationsCup XII will be without two-times defending champions Germany, as the national team has decided to out-prioritize this year’s edition of NationsCup.

The Germany national team will not be found in NationsCup XII, meaning a new champion will for sure be found this season. The national team will focus on ESL ENC and with a tight schedule for the German teams, attending both ESL Pro Series and other majors, there won't be spare time for NationsCup this time around. Team Germany and mousesports manager Andreas "andreas_N" Noack states:

"We have decided not to participate in this year’s ClanBase NationsCup as we want to fully focus on this year’s ESL ENC. It was not an easy decision, as CB NC is still a great Cup, but due to tight schedule we had to set our priorities."

Group C is now left with five teams and a replacement will not be found, states ClanBase. Check out more action from ClanBase NationsCup XII tonight, as we have two matches to be shown.

it gives not only alternate and mouz. it stays more EPS teams they want to play but no andreas is not interested with other players from other teams

It's not andreas_N decision. CB could have picked any other captain, but they agreed not to select players from other teams and to respect their official captain's decision afaik

That's not true. There has never been prize money (and it shouldn't be) in nations cup and they still played every year. All other teams are in with their best lineups this time, so I guess they are just afraid of losing to Denmark, Sweden etc.

They are not playing because they are affraid of losing... Or else they wouldn't play ESL ENC as well.. And doesn't ENC have prize money?

ENC is not CB NC. And ESL ENC has max 20 teams playing, and CB NC has 36 :P

CB and ENC is the same tournament but not with same prizes . My tunisian team was refused because we were non european .... on german server we ping 60to90 israel players have 90 and iceland team too ...

so why ? because they asked us passports or official papers ? everything was ok and the day after they tell us u won't play because chiefs don't want ....

Did you provide passports (proof that your are Tunisian), did you prove that you have good enough ping to play. Foreign team is not allowed as far as I know, so with you being in France doesn't help you I guess. And it's and European competition, so not sure what you don't understand. Israel is there for years. All others are from Europe.

i don't need to prove iti play eswc qualifiers in tunisia and we were told to play with at least 3 tunisians living and playing in tunisia , and what u think cbnc is ? ONU ? ambassy to send u my passport ? german guys didn't do it i think also austrian or english teams , btw cbnc is dying . hf gl

Hahaha. German players are well known, so no need for them to prove their nationality. Everyone knows who they are. But if some noom that lives in France ask to represent Tunisia off course they will ask for the prove their nationality. I should have contacted them and say I'm from Morocco and ask them to allow me to play for Morocco? LOL You are so funny. Go play African cup of nations.

rules are the same for all . But what i don't get is that once they tell us to play and after they tell us to not play because we're non european and it's sad because Portugal haven't played first qualification match

Well, if it's for European nations only, than it is :) Portugal was free because Spain didn't play. It should have been 36 teams so noone would get BYE.

Sure, but some of the guys are considering team Germany to be their ownership. I personally think that Germany are trying to bring damage to CB NC because ESL is their organization, in Germany. They will fail off course, because NC is probably one of the oldest CS tournaments in the world.
