KODE5 Sweden at DH Gothenburg

KODE5 announces the Swedish KODE5 regional finals to take place at DreamHack Gothenburg.

Last season the regional finals were held at the WonderBase LAN event, but this season KODE5 will visit DreamHack. DreamHack have announced their DreamHack On Tour to have several stops in Sweden and KODE5 will visit the one in Gothenburg. The regional finals will be open to any team applying, meaning not just Swedish ones.

DATES: April 10th to 12th, 2009
VENUE: DreamHack Göteborg, Svenska Mässan
CITY: Göteborg
NOTES: 1st place advances to KODE5 Global Finals

Known as the world’s largest computer festival, DreamHack Gothenburg will for sure attract a lot of teams and many fans to watch. The tournament will be played as a BYOC event, where selected games will be played on tournament computers.

As a bonus, 50.000SEK (4705€) has been added, while prices from CM Storm and QPAD have been added too. Furthermore, the winning team will receive a wildcard for DreamHack Summer, taking place in Jönköping later this year. Stay tuned for information regarding KODE5 Sweden.

50.000SEK is not that much, but it's a kind of prize. I don't dare thinking about, what the second place will receive. I miss CPL. <3 :P

I see your point, thought it was the proper KODE5. How much do the winners receive of the proper KODE5? :)
