Heroic and NiP to DH Valencia playoffs
NiP and Heroic have secured spots in the DreamHack Open Valencia semi-finals, topping their respective groups with a 2-0 record on the first day.
HEROIC had a confident showing on their first day in Spain, starting the event with a win against Misfits despite the North American side putting up a good fight at the beginning of their matchup on Overpass.
However, after going down 6-3 on the CT side, HEROIC were able to close out the half with a 9-6 lead which was enough for them to finish the game with a confident 16-8 scoreline.

After that, the Danes went on to face KPI, who secured a place in the winners match by upsetting Envy on Train earlier in the tournament. The Spaniards weren't able to repeat that performance against HEROIC on Mirage, as Andreas "MODDII" Fridh was once again having a great game, helping his team stay in a comfortable lead for the majority of the match.
In the end, it was another 16-8 victory, as Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen clutched a 1v2 with a smoke defuse to finish the game.

Ninjas in Pyjamas's road to the playoff started by facing their old teammate Mikail "Maikelele" Bill and his new squad Red Reserve. The Swedish derby didn't deliver a lot of excitement, however, as the veteran side was able to win the few tight rounds to finish the game on Inferno with a convincing 16-3 scoreline.

The first half of Overpass against CLG was a similar story, as Ninjas in Pyjamas ran away with the lead early on, picking up 8 rounds before the North Americans got on the board.
After a poor, 12-3 half, CLG were able to bounce back on the CT side despite a second-round anti-eco fumble and get the deficit down to only four rounds, making it 14-10. However, Richard "Xizt" Landström's side was able to close out the game from that point onwards, securing a day off in Valencia and a spot in the semi-finals.
