NiP to DH Valencia final over EnVyUs
NiP have secured their place in the DreamHack Open Valencia grand final after defeating EnVyUs 2-1 (8-16 on Inferno, 16-10 on Cache and 16-9 on Train).
The first semi-final of the day began on Inferno, Envy' map pick, with the Frenchmen picking up the pistol round as Terrorists. After following it with the subsequent anti-ecos, Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer's team were only able to win four more rounds during the first half, which meant that Ninjas in Pyjamas would reach half-time with an 8-7 lead.
Envy began the second half with a quad-kill from Cédric "RpK" Guipouy to win another pistol round. RpK continued to lead the way for his team's flawless CT-side with the highest number of kills (21) and average damage (104.8), helping the team to finish off the map, 16-8.

The second map of the series was Cache, and the Swedes started out as Terrorists. Once again, it was Envy who won the pistol round. Then, as Ninjas in Pyjamas bought guns in the third round, they got out to an early 4-2 lead. Despite Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom and co. being able to equalise the score at 4-4, Richard "Xizt" Landström's squad picked up a 9-6 half-time lead.
The French team then won yet another pistol, their fourth of the series, setting them up for a 9-9 tie. However, from that moment on, Envy could not get through Ninjas in Pyjamas's defence for four straight rounds, and they would eventually lose the map by a 16-10 scoreline.

On the decider map, Train, the Swedish team got off to a great start as they not only won the first pistol, their first of the series, but also the first gun round. The half was looking like a one-sided affair as Ninjas in Pyjamas brought their advantage to 9-1, but Envy managed to get back to the game with four more rounds as Terrorists.
In the second half, the Frenchmen won the first four rounds, bringing the deficit to a minimum. Still, Ninjas in Pyjamas broke Envy' economy with the following round and took control of the match, eventually locking down the map at 16-9 to book their spot in the final.
