PGL Major Krakow 2017kRYSTAL: "We know we can compete, it's just about finding the confidence"
After PENTA survived their elimination match against Vega Squadron with a comeback from a 7-14 deficit, we sat down with Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend for an interview about his squad's journey through the Major so far.
PENTA kicked off the Major with a narrow loss to SK on Inferno, after the European side clawed back from a 0-10 deficit. Day two saw Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend and company grabbing a 7-1 lead against North on Mirage, but the Danes went on to crush PENTA in the remainder of the match which ended 16-9.
In the 0-2 pool, PENTA met Vega Squadron and got off to a poor start with just three rounds on the offense on Mirage, but managed to mount a comeback as CT, coming out with a 16-14 win.
We sat down with kRYSTAL after their latest match to find out why Niko "naSu" Kovanen isn't with the team at the Major, how it affected their preparation, and we ran through PENTA's matches so far:
