ECS S4 Development League announced
ECS has announced details about the upcoming season of the Development League, which will lead into the main portion of ECS Season 4.
The competition to get into the upcoming season of ECS will start as soon as August 19, when the open qualifiers for both North America and Europe will kick off. The two best teams from each of these qualifiers will advance to the ECS Season 4 Development League.
The Development League will feature eight teams in each region, with the four qualified ones being joined by four invited ones. The teams will play each other in a BO2 round-robin format, with the top two teams from each region advancing to the BO5 relegation playoffs. There, the Development teams will face the two lowest ranked teams from the last ECS season, that being Virtus.pro and Dignitas in Europe and Ghost and Luminosity in North America.

ECS will also continue with the Community Caster Challenge, providing unknown casters an opportunity to break through by casting their matches. To apply, casters are required to send the following information: first and last name, contact email, Skype link, YouTube channel URL, and other social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to [email protected].
