MoeycQ departs Grayhound

Following Grayhound's failure to qualify for WCA 2017 Finals recently, Mohammed "MoeycQ" Tizani announced his removal from the Australian team shortly after, via Twitter.

The former Immunity roster was up on the rise during the past few months, as they finished 3rd place at both the PGL Asia Minor Championship and ZEN League Season 1 Finals, before moving forward with their current organization and bringing in Montheara "⁠prakM⁠" Prak as a permanent fifth.

Grayhound went on to secure another third place at AOC CGPL Winter Finals, where they fell to the hands of Tainted Minds and Chiefs. With the exception of Mohammed "⁠MoeycQ⁠" Tizani due to personal commitments, the team traveled straight to Perth following the event, to obtain a better ping connection for the WCA 2017 Asia-Pacific Qualifier.

MoeycQ is now a free agent

About a week later, MoeycQ joined the rest of the crew in Perth, but unfortunately failed to make it out of the online group stage. A few days passed, which saw the 24-year-old reveal he was teamless.

HLTV.org reached out to Grayhound's in-game leader Erdenetsogt "⁠erkaSt⁠" Gantulga, regarding the situation:

"It is emotionally hard to remove MoeycQ from the roster since our team is like family, the decision has nothing to do with his performance or anything, it was just the limited time of team practice we had with him."

"In the end, we are trying to improve as a team and if you want to improve, you definitely need to put some hours as a team, this is the best for the team and MoeycQ in the long-term."

"I wish him the best of luck and happiness!"

On the search for a new member, Grayhound is currently left with an incomplete roster:

All this team should disband and don't deserve to get attention on hltv.org as it is just a team with amateur/semi-pro results. Especially it is funny to read statements from players lol. Dude you need to understand that average FACEIT player with rank 8+ play on the same level as you, just level of the scene is so low in your region that you are able to compete in some leagues of your region. When you will get into some EU tournaments you will just get stomped by random EU mixes.
