WCA Americas qualifiers set to resume
WCA America has revealed the details concerning the second round of open qualifiers in North and South America.
The qualifying process in the Americas will see two teams, one from North America and one from South America, secure spots at the WCA finals, in December, in Yinchuan, China.
While the second open North American qualifier will start on Friday, the South American qualifier will kick off only on August 18. The top two teams from each will join two other squads who have already qualified for the Regional Finals - Gale Force and Vault in North America, Isurus and ProGaming in South America.

Besides those teams, four others will receive invites to the Regional Finals, which will have over $18,000 on offer in addition to WCA 2017 spots. Below you can find the prize-pool distribution for the finals from each region:
