Tainted Minds add zewsy

Tainted Minds have added Ryan "zewsy" Palmer to their official roster, the organisation has announced.

The 20-year-old had been out of action since April, when his Winterfox team fell apart following issues with the North American organisation that eventually resulted in the players being left stranded in Australia while the ESL Pro League season was still in progress.

He now reunites with his former teammates Chris "⁠ofnu⁠" Hanley and Mike "⁠ap0c⁠" Aliferis on Tainted Minds as he steps into the shoes of Dylan "⁠kyoto⁠" Brown.

zewsy is back to the competitive scene

Contacted by HLTV.org, the New Zealander explained that despite "being abandoned by Winterfox" and eventually stepping "away from Counter-Strike", he is now ready to compete again-

"The situation within Winterfox made me lose a lot of passion for Counter-Strike and I decided to pursue studies at University", Ryan "⁠zewsy⁠" Palmer told HLTV.org.

"Now that I have gotten settled in at University I look forward to competing in Counter-Strike again. I am confident that with this team and the support of Tainted Minds we will achieve great results."

The team has signed-up for the Australian ROG MASTERS Qualifier, which is set to start on August 26, and will be playing in the upcoming AOC CyberGamer Premier League Spring 2017.

Lots of claims that they mistreated their LOL team

Their LoL team was living in a house with no air conditioning during one of the hottest months in Australian history (48c / 118f) and the org refused to pay for proper cooling. The house was a mess and they were paid 1k month (which was food as well) whilst working 8+ hours / day. There were tons of other issues which I can't remember off the top of my head.

Yeah I think Zewsy should have joined Kings instead, Zewsy is one the the few players who could join Renegades from the AU/NZ region

Tainted Minds aren't the greatest Australian roster to watch at the moment. Not completely horrible but not the best we have.
