OpTic disqualified from ELEAGUE Premier
OpTic Gaming have been disqualified from ELEAGUE Premier as a result of their recent roster changes, the tournament's organisers have revealed.
According to Turner Sports, OpTic's changes are "inconsistent with ELEAGUE’s rules", which state that, "if more than two players on a team's roster change, such team will be removed from the tournament immediately."
OpTic are keeping only Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas and Keith "NAF" Markovic from their previous team. On Monday, it was confirmed that the Spanish player will be joined by Aleksi "allu" Jalli, Adam "friberg" Friberg and Emil "Magisk" Reif in the starting line-up, with the fifth player, presumably Kevin "HS" Tarn, expected to be revealed soon.

Replacing the ELEAGUE Season 2 champions will be a third team coming out of the Americas Open Qualifier, which will be held from August 26-27.
The news comes as yet another blow for OpTic after the team learned that it would be replaced by Cloud9 at DreamHack Masters Malmö, also because of the recent roster changes.
