DreamHack Malmö group draw

The draw for the group stage of DreamHack Masters Malmö has been held, with the 16 participants having been drawn into four groups.

PGL Major Krakow champions Gambit were handed a tough draw as they have been paired with the new FaZe and MOUZ rosters, along with DreamHack Valencia champions Ninjas in Pyjamas.

SK, the current No.1 team in the world, have been drawn alongside North,Cloud9 and BOOT-d[S], while Danylo "⁠Zeus⁠" Teslenko's Natus Vincere will have to take on Astralis, Virtus.pro and Renegades.

AdreN's Gambit paired with FaZe, NiP and mousesports

G2 and Envy have once again been drawn in the same group, which also includes Immortals and fnatic.

DreamHack Masters Malmö will take place from August 30 to September 3 at Malmö Arena. A total of $250,000 will be up for grabs at the event, which will feature 12 invited teams and four qualified sides.

Shouldn't be, Faze are the only clear strong team in the group, Gambit are 50/50 on if they'll be good or not, mousesports are mousesports and NiP have shown a little bit of promise but nothing to shout about. Easiest group is A closely followed by D and then B is probably the hardest.

I don't think there is a clear favorite in D. The most balanced group because even group B has Renegades who are worst than every team in group D and are going to get rekt...maybe. If VP and NaVi show up this time.

Many teams after major has break and vacations, they got time to get their form, also a lot of teams has changes like Mouz, Navi, Gambit, Faze,North, Cloud9, Fnatic they willshow new maps and strats, but the team play and chemistry needs more time to do best. In this tourmanet we got really stronge teams that will show their best on 100%, they are hungry after major my favorites are EnVyUs and SK also i believe in G2 and Navi. EnVyUs really are in best form of 2017, also the map pool is to strong, they probably can get this DH. SK got no changes but the pause can be better or worse. G2 disappointment in Major give them motivation to do their best. Why Navi? cause in pracs they are winnig best team also Zeus in way to show us that he is best IGL. Gambit now are team withstrong aimers and open fragers, they need time to get their best form, but as we all now LANbits are really darkhorse in LAN-s)
