Rise Nation win ESEA Premier S25 North America

Rise Nation won the North American division of ESEA Premier Season 25, defeating District 7 with a 2-0 scoreline in the grand final (16-8 Nuke, 16-8 Mirage). The two finalists and Mythic, who placed third in the end, have earned spots at the ESEA S25 Global Challenge LAN.

The final matches of ESEA Premier Season 25 have been concluded last night, deciding the winner and the teams to take the three slots for the ESEA S25 Global Challenge LAN.

Jonji's team won ESEA Premier Season 25 for North America

Rise Nation, who finished the main portion of the league in the first place with 14 wins and two losses, took down Nitrious and Mythic in the playoffs to secure a spot in the grand finals, while Yassine "⁠Subroza⁠" Taoufik's District 7 2-0'd Gale Force and Eanix to get to a shot at the title.

The grand final was a straightforward one, however, as Rise Nation dropped just eight rounds on both their opponents pick, Nuke, and their own map, Mirage. A strong team performance was spearheaded by Kaleb "⁠moose⁠" Jayne, who finished the series with a 2.0 K/D and 100.9 ADR.

Mythic had a much tougher game in the third place decider match. Facing Naventic, Eric "⁠adreN⁠" Hoag's side was able to just barely edge out the first map, Train, before Naventic managed to tie up the series 1-1 with a 16-11 Mirage win.

The last map once again came down to the wire, with Mythic being able to close it out with a 16-14 in the end.

No, there is no qualifying for EPL this season. Top 3 made it to the LAN event Global Challenge though.

As you can see, Season 25 is a 'training season'. This means there will be no promotions. The teams who are going to replace the teams in your article are the teams that took the top spots in S24 of ESEA Premier, Godsent and BIG for Europe, Splyce and Ghost Gaming for NA.

Those are the new rules of esea and ESL to qualify for EPL you play MDL Global Challange. "With the busy CS:GO schedule and events already announced throughout the summer, including the upcoming Valve Major, we feel it is best to allow teams to compete in their already planned events and then participate in the following season of ESEA MDL, which includes the opportunity to get promoted to the ESL Pro League. All teams who are relegated will still be required to re-qualify for the ESL Pro League through the ESEA MDL as the exclusive path to the ESL Pro League."

Broken / Obey were good at that one qualifier but we need to see more of them before we say that. Glad to see some rising NA teams for once. EU always had that upper hand on NA in terms of rising talent

nip has been disappointing for a very long time and i don't see that changing any time soon. meanwhile everywhere i look rise are doing well i hope they start getting to some big events soon ive been impressed especially with dazzle. They will probably breakup though soon since other orgs like complexity will probably start poaching their players :(

Everywhere you look, Rise are doing good at low end events with nothing but straight shitter NA teams. Lets not throw teams like that straight up with the big dogs. NRG on the other hand, idk. If Rise were to take NA teams like NRG's spots at low end events that might have the likes of Heroic, Penta, LDLC, HellRaisers, etc and see how they do THERE, and if they're pretty good there as well, alright, I'd start talking about giving them a shot in the big boys league. And even THEN I wouldn't replace them with NiP. Maybe a NA team that's been kind of disappointing like CLG

very much deserved they displayed a high skill ceiling all through out the season and have some good talent on that line up that can certainly hold their own in pro league.
