EPICENTER 2017 to offer $500,000 prize
Epic Esports Events has announced that the 2017 edition of EPICENTER will have $500,000 on offer.
In a video posted on Twitter, the Russia-based event organiser unveiled the first details about the event along with subtle hints about some of the participating teams, with the logos of FaZe, Astralis, and Gambit being briefly shown.
EPICENTER 2016 took place in October at the VTB Ice Palace, with eight teams in attendance. dignitas, now known as North, took home the grand prize of $250,000 after defeating Virtus.pro 2-1 in the grand final.

More details about the event, including tournament format and a final list of participants, are expected to be released by Epic Esports Events in the coming weeks.
