Astralis beat Na`Vi in Malmö; to playoffs

Astralis have secured their place in the DreamHack Masters Malmö playoffs after defeating Natus Vincere 2-0 (16-6 on Overpass and 16-10 on Mirage).

The second match of the day kicked off on Overpass, Astralis' map pick, with the Ukrainian side securing the Terrorist pistol round after denying Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth the chance to clutch a 1v4. Down 3-0, the Danes prevailed in the first two gun rounds, but they could not equalise the score as Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and Denis "seized" Kostin won a 2v3 post-plant situation in the sixth round.

Natus Vincere followed that up with another round, bringing the score to 5-2, but then Astralis took control of the game and closed out the half with a 9-6 lead.

The Danish squad began the second half by winning the pistol round and the subsequent anti-ecos, setting themselves up for a 12-6 lead. Then, in the first gun round, a clean A execution assured them of a 13th round and left Natus Vincere strapped for cash. From that point, there was nothing that the Ukrainian team could do to stop the Danes from running away with the lead and bringing the game to a quick end.

device's Astralis have made it to Malmö playoffs

Starting out as Counter-Terrorists, Natus Vincere got off to a flying start on their map pick, Mirage, securing a 5-0 lead. As Astralis picked up their first round with a fast A execution, the landscape of the game changed dramatically, with the Danes going on to win eight of the remaining nine rounds.

The Ukrainians did not want to throw in the towel, so they opened up the second half with three rounds in a row to equalize the score at 9-9. The following round was more slow paced, and despite Natus Vincere starting it with a one-man advantage, Astralis were the ones who secured it with double-kills from Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander and Nicolai "device" Reedtz.

Astralis remained in control until the end of the game, losing just one more round before closing out the map, 16-10, and the series, 2-0.

First, k0nfig isn't cheating. Just because your team lost does not mean the opponents are cheating. Second, yes you are pretty much whining like a little 6 year old after they loose in an online game.

That goes without saying tbh, any team that picks up a player that goes on to be the stand out best player of the year got a pretty great deal. Gla1ve though due to being a igl seems more special to me than picking up a star rifler.

This Winner vs Winner match format totally degrades the prestige of Dreamhack as both teams are not desperate to win while it's pointless for teams to throw away so much money just to attend only two matches.

the hate for seized is unbelievable, when he does bad he does bad with the rest of the team. edward and zeus has almost same rating, but they dont even need to "return to form" like seized. like people really are focused on him doing bad when rest of team does bad, news flash, when your team loses and everyone has negative rating and 2 of your teammates are .02 and .03 away from you, that just means the team failed.

nice he has slumped for 1 year from being IGL and being out of form. you expect him to return to form 1 week from stop being IGL? also he is not even doing bad, the rest of team does bad he does bad (edward and zeus is only .01 and .03 rating higher than him yet people keep shitting on seized) because he's a support and he's not in the form to carry or top frag right now especially if his team does bad. when the team does good he does well, as seen from VP game and all the online games na'vi has so far where when they have won games, in those online games seized was 2nd top rating after s1mple for any game they win. Any game they lose everyone except s1mple's rating is almost identical yet retards hating on seized LUL even though he has bitch role right now and when everyone else buys and they have no money for him he is on CZ hltv posters = swing reaction game to game, retarded kids
