DTS-CUP 2009 with $20.000 for CS

DTS-CUP is continuing their event held last year as they announce the 2009 event with $20.000 for Counter-Strike.
The 2008 event was won by HellRaisers in front of EYESports. The Ukrainians could pocket a fair deal of money, but this year, the prize money has been doubled. The event will, as last year, take place in Dnepropetrovsk in Ukraine at the CHATRIX LAN center.
The organizers are aiming to attract some of the best European teams to the event. Over the years we have seen teams attending ASUS events in Russian and latest Rekrut.ru Championship, which might bring the European elite to Ukraine this spring.
DTS-CUP 2009 will see sixteen teams, four of which will be invited. The teams will be fighting for a total prize purse of $20.000.
The event will take place 16-17th of May, while the list of attendees will be announced on the 1st of May. Stay tuned for more updates from DTS-CUP 2009.
