Nix0n: "Looking forward to feedback on the coaching rules"
To bring you some insight on how events are organized and what the current tournament landscape is like, we sat down with Marc "Nix0n" Winther from DreamHack, who also shared his thoughts on rules regarding coaches and banned players.
On the third day of DreamHack Masters Malmö, we had a chat with Marc "Nix0n" Winther, who is the product manager for DreamHack Open and the Director of DreamHack Masters, to talk about different topics regarding running tournaments.
At the start, Nix0n touched on the troubles of scheduling events and the issues with overlapping, especially this year, but also talked about the reasoning behind certain decisions, such as the changes to the coaching rules and how they technically implemented them. In the end, he mentioned that they are looking into "having a framework and support from other entities on rules and regulations" regarding banned players.
