Epsilon win Gfinity Elite Series S1

Epsilon have been crowned the Gfinity Elite Series champions after defeating Prophecy 3-0 in the grand final.

The playoff bracket saw the top four teams from the round robin stage battle it out in London for a share of the league's $110,000 prize-pool. To secure a place in the grand final, Prophecy beat EnVyUs Academy by a 2-1 scoreline, while Epsilon defeated exceL also in a three-map series.

freddieb had the most kills (71) and highest ADR (111.7) of the final

The best-of-five grand final kicked off on Mirage, Epsilon's map pick, with André "⁠BARBARR⁠" Möller's European mixture dominating proceedings right from the start as they ran out 16-0 victors.

Karl-William "⁠kalle⁠" Haraldsen's new squad still put up a fight on the remaining maps, Train, and Mirage, but Epsilon were simply far too hot for their opponents to handle, and closed out the series 3-0 to win the opening season of the Gfinity Elite Series and take home approximately $51,700.

Epsilon could've defeated G2 if they stick to their old WCA lineup for a year at least. The results clearly shows that the masterplan is bearing fruit.
