Imperial have announced that they have parted ways with their CS:GO team with immediate effect.

In a statement, Imperial CEO Oli Adams justified the decision with the organisation's desire to have a team that can potentially attend a Major - something impossible in the case of the Bulgarian roster due to Simeon "⁠dream3r⁠" Ganev's VAC ban.

Previously known as MK, the team joined the ranks of Imperial in late April, winning Skinhub Championship and Hellcase Cup #5, and placing third-fourth at the Binary Dragons Prestige LAN while playing under the UK-based organisation.

spyleadeR & co seek a new organisation

Contacted by HLTV.org, team member Viktor "⁠v1c7oR⁠" Dyankov stated that the team will go back to the name MK until a new organisation is found and stressed that this setback will not deter them from their quest to climb up the ranking.

"We want to thank Imperial for cheering for us and taking us under their wings during these five months," v1c7oR told HLTV.org.

"The time to look for a new home is here again. We will play under the MK tag again, and we are looking forwarding to giving a great account of ourselves in the upcoming Leagues/LANs in which we will compete - ESEA MDL, SL-I League and IEM Oakland qualifiers, FarmSkins WCA and Esports Balkan League.

"Right now we are ranked 30th, and our goal until the end of the year is to become a top 15 team.

The news means that Bulgaria's two strongest teams are now on the lookout for organisations, after Teodor "⁠SPELLAN⁠" Nikolov's squad parted ways with Outlaws only last week.

A Bulgarian team with limited knowledge of English, and by the looks of it, no connection to decent out of country players, has no other options. Dreamer is the star player on the team. The rest help him so they can win. The only other player they can get to replace dreamer would be Cerq. That's why they keep playing with him.

He is actually very talanted awper and when they were under the GPLAY org he did some insane shots and had very good awp games versus teams such as envyus. It is obvious that the Cadian bitch wanted to awp, although he is a pure shit at cs go.

bubble, victor, spyleader, niki1, and nk4y is the best possible team they can form assuming they stop playing with dreamer. Since their return and since Imperial released them, it's certain they WANT to keep playing with dreamer. The best possible thing they can do now is GET RID OF SHEMETA. Honestly, anyone from ex Outlaws and some from Bpro and even TTFU will be a huge upgrade over shemeta.
