North handed Epicenter invite
Last year's champion, although under the Dignitas tag at the time, North, has been invited to take part in this year's Epicenter in St. Petersburg.
The Danish team, which turned some heads last weekend after finishing in second place at DreamHack Masters, has been confirmed as the fifth team in the Epicenter lineup.
A lot of expectation was created around the Danish squad when Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså stepped into the shoes of the now OpTic player Emil "Magisk" Reif. The new member of the team didn't disappoint, and was a central figure in his team's success in Sweden. Now, North, scheduled to play in Montreal this weekend, will also have Epicenter to look forward to.

There are now three more invites left to give out, plus two teams to qualify from an on-site wildcard stage which will feature the best teams from the regional qualifiers. The tournament, which will take place at the Yubileyny Sports Palace on October 23-29, will have $500,000 up for grabs.
