Swedish team fnatic was brought down to four men, as Oscar "Archi" Torgersen has decided to stop playing Counter-Strike 1.6, on a professional level. Replacing him will be former Blank member, Rasmus "Gux" Ståhl.
For the second time in 2009, fnatic will be changing their lineup. First changes were when Oskar "ins" Holm decided to retire, giving Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund the chance in fnatic. Many at first thought Oscar "Archi" Torgersen was the man to leave the team, but as it turns out, he will leave after all.
Harley "dsn" Örwall states following:
Lack of interest playing the game, involving more to see friends and go out, is what brought Oscar "Archi" Torgersen to the decision, to quit Counter-Strike.

"After some weeks of intensive training with the team, change is coming your way again. Archi, our long time friend and team mate, has admitted his lack of interest playing the game to us. His recent lifestyle involves seeing friends and going out a lot more, something he felt was more fun than spending his weekday nights playing CS. I guess he has been feeling like that for some time now but was afraid to say it, being afraid to quit doing something he had been doing for such a long time.
Anyway, he finally told us how he felt about not enjoying to play anymore and that brought him to tears. All of us are still friends and we have no hard feelings, we are just happy he admitted his feelings before it was too late. Losing two long time players in a short time is tough, but they will always have a place in our hearts. We have walked through happy and rough times together and I think all of us are happy with how well we got along. Playing big games with your friends and winning as a team is amazing.
Right now, time is precious for us, having to bring in a new player one week before the first tournament of the year for us: ESL at CeBiT. After some discussions within the team we have decided to bring in Rasmus “Gux” Stahl, formerly of Blank. Gux is a player for the big games, having killed Fnatic and SK with amazing play a couple of times. We are happy to give him the chance to prove himself wearing black and orange with pride. I remember playing Clanbase games with mix teams versus Gux like a year or even more ago, and there was always something annoying with playing him. I could instantly see the talent he had, not only because I died to his gun, but also because he played in a convincing manner.
I would like to thank Oscar for all the fun and rough times we went through together, all the best having fun with the guys in the Club Vegas house, I’m sure we will see each other in Gothenburg and I hope that you still watch HLTV once in a while to see your old mates play.
To Rasmus – welcome to the team, I hope you will have a blast playing with us and we hope that you will be the final piece of the puzzle to make Fnatic truly amazing."

"My first thought was actually that it just had to be a joke, but when I found out it was for real it was, of course, a really nice feeling."
