ESL One New York to run on old patch

ESL One New York will not be played in the latest patch, tournament director Jonas "bsl" Alsaker Vikan has announced.

In a Reddit post, Jonas "⁠bsl⁠" Alsaker Vikan states that, after discussing the matter internally and reaching out to the teams in attendance, ESL decided to use a previous patch for the tournament as players have had little time to adapt to the newest patch.

Last night's update brought significant gameplay changes, with the unarmored aimpunch having been "significantly reduced", and the Glock and the P250 having been altered to emphasize "skillful use".

ESL One New York will not use the latest CS:GO patch

ESL One New York, taking place at the Barclays Center, will kick off at 17:00 with SK taking on Envy, and FaZe locking horns with Virtus.pro. The event will run until Sunday, with $250,000 on the line.

You think Valve are bad on CSGO? Bruh have you played TF2 recently? it's so fucking dead with the only updates being shitty cosmetic items and them bringing matchmaking fucking 9 YEARS after the game launched even though it was one of the most common thinks people asked for FOR 9 FUCKING YEARS. Also this is what valve said; 'Levels are a cosmetic feature that show how much you've played. They can never be lost, and they do not affect matchmaking.' Nigga they introduce matchmaking after 9 years and say that it's not even matchmaking, not really.

+11111 tf2 has been dead ever since the meet your match update. their matchmaking system is just cancer, and they somehow managed to ruin pubbing as well. if you want to play tf2 comp, you have to play in a league

I don't know why this would matter anyway. It would still be the same for everyone so unless people stopped playing after the patch there is no significant advantage to any team if they were to play on the last patch.
