fnatic eliminate mousesports from ELEAGUE Premier

fnatic have eliminated mousesports from ELEAGUE Premier 2017 after picking up a 2-1 victory in Group B's elimination match (16-5 on Train, 13-16 on Mirage and 16-13 on Cobblestone).

Starting out as Counter-Terrorists on their opponents' map pick, Train, fnatic got out to a 4-0 lead after winning the pistol, the following anti-ecos and the first gun round. In the next round, Robin "flusha" Rönnquist helped his team increase their lead with a quad-kill that included a 1v2 clutch, setting the Swedes up for a 6-0 advantage.

It was only then that MOUZ were able to pick up their first round of the series, but they could not capitalise on that. fnatic kept winning rounds and eventually increased their lead to 12-1 before the final two rounds of the half went to the European mixture.

Chris "chrisJ" de Jong's men still tried to put up a fight by winning the CT pistol, but fnatic quickly closed out the map, 16-5, as soon as they had weapons to work with.

fnatic will take on Immortals in Group B decider match

MOUZ kicked off Mirage on the right foot, picking up seven rounds without response from the Swedes. fnatic then managed to secure their first round in a semi-buy, but they could not follow it up.

Down 9-1, the Swedish team got back into the game with a triple-kill from flusha. That round allowed fnatic to find some breathing room, with the half ending in a 10-5 scoreline.

Despite losing the first two rounds of the second half, MOUZ managed to break through fnatic's defense in a save round, setting themselves up for a 14-7 lead. Maikil "Golden" Selim and co. refused to throw in the towel, even after MOUZ had reached match point, and brought the deficit to 15-13, but, in the end, the European mixture locked down the map to take the series to Cobblestone.

mousesports have been eliminated from ELEAGUE Premier

MOUZ began Cobblestone with a successful CT pistol, but fnatic turned things around on a force-buy.

After buying up, mousesports tightened up their defense, winning six straight rounds. fnatic then won their fourth round of the game, but a quad-kill from chrisJ in the following round powered his team to go on another great run - one that would see them take an 11-4 half-time lead.

In the second half, a flawless pistol round helped fnatic get back into the game, with the Swedes following it up with both anti-ecos and the first gun round. MOUZ' inability to string rounds together severely hurt their economy and played a key role in fnatic's rejuvenation as the Swedish team locked down the map, 16-13, and the series, 2-1.

Train was ridiculous from fnatic, it should be mouz best map and mediocre for fnatic, but they still managed this hell of a CT half.

Mousesports getting shot from all angles, they should learn how to avoid crossfires when finding aims.
