SL i-League Invitational Shanghai CIS qualifier announced

The first phase of the qualifier for SL i-League Invitational Shanghai will have 16 teams, which will be split into two single-elimination brackets. The matches, which will be played as BO3, will kick off on September 20th. In the end, the finalists from each bracket will continue to the second phase of the qualifier.

The four best teams from the first phase will be joined by four invited teams in the second phase, where another BO3 single-elimination bracket will decide which CIS team will claim the slot at the $150,000 LAN in Shanghai, China.

Currently, only two teams for the eight-team tournament have been confirmed: Gambit and TYLOO.
