EnVyUs with a convincing win over VP in Atlanta

EnVyUs picked up a win in the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier group stage, taking down Virtus.pro on Cobblestone with a 16-6 scoreline.

Kicking off group C at the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier were two 7-8th finishers from ESL One New York: Virtus.pro and Envy. The teams decided upon Cobblestone as the map of choice, with the French side taking the lead early on. Playing a key part in that was a second-round force-buy win which saw Vincent "⁠Happy⁠" Schopenhauer and co. exploding onto the A site and winning key duels.

As the score was 6-2, Envy decided for an attack on the B site, with the trades going back and forth, leaving Janusz "⁠Snax⁠" Pogorzelski and Christophe "⁠SIXER⁠" Xia in a 1v1 situation. In a round typical for "The Butcher", Snax outplayed the French AWPer and clutched the round with a knife kill.

RpK was on point in the match against Virtus.pro

Virtus.pro then got up to four rounds and broke Envy' economy, but couldn't capitalize on that as the Cédric "⁠RpK⁠" Guipouy secured three kills with a combination of a CZ-75 and a picked up AWP. The French side got their round count up to nine before a slip up against a weak buy cost them, allowing the Poles to finish the half 9-6 down.

Picking up the pistol and the following two rounds was a step in the right direction for Envy, who were able to keep the control of the match in their hands. Round 19 was a crucial one, as the French side managed to shut down the A site attack from Wiktor "⁠TaZ⁠" Wojtas and co. with the help of the timer.

13-6 up at that point, Envy didn't struggle to close out the remaining rounds, allowing them to move on to the winner's match of ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier group C.

Yes im a VP fan before you hate on me read this, I don't understand why VP is making pasha IGL ...? He is playing so well lately the last months and now they made him IGL lol.
