mousesports, Renegades confirmed at DH Denver

mousesports and Renegades are the next two teams confirmed for DreamHack Open Denver, the event's organisers have announced.

The ESG Tour Mykonos champions and the Australian side join BIG and CLG, who were previously invited, as well as HellRaisers and NRG, who earned their tickets via the qualifiers held in Europe and North America, respectively.

Both teams were recently in action at ELEAGUE Premier, finishing at the bottom of their respective groups following two straight losses.

mousesports join the team list for DreamHack Denver

DreamHack Open Denver will run from October 20-22 at the National Western Complex, with $100,000 up for grabs. The names of the final two teams will be revealed next week, DreamHack has announced.

Below you can find the current list of participants for the North American event:

Europe HellRaisers North America NRG
Germany BIG United States CLG
Europe MOUZ Australia Renegades

I agree. Playing in NA makes them play like an NA team. And we all know how well NA have done in csgo. Imho they should have moved to eu and right off the bat

They didn't stand a chance in EU initially and its a much harder market to break into given the various different scenes within the EU scene. But once they were Pro League regulars, they should have made a point of entering EU minor tournaments against other tier 3 - 4 teams.

Playing in NA doesn't make them do anything. If they can't make themselves practice properly like the Brazilian teams did, that's on them. Practicing in EU won't just fix all their problems. They'll probably just be low quality practice for the EU teams anyway.

But compared to the tops teams in NA, Renegades have hardly played up against the EU meta and players. They can't progress as players if they can't adapt to different styles of play, which is one of the reasons why AU CS is fairly stagnant at the moment.

Well that statement has nothing to do with your "NA makes teams play bad." It doesn't. NA doesn't/used to not practice well, but that had no effect on the Brazilian teams who came to NA, had nothing but NA or themselves to practice against, and did so properly and superseded NA. And you say "We all know how well NA have done in CSGO" as if Australia has done something greater. Its true Australia doesn't play against EU as much, and playing against them more on a LAN setting will make them better. But practicing against them vs practicing in NA should not make them practice any different. If they do, that's their fault.

I'm talking about adapting to and adopting the different styles of play. AU has a similar meta to NA, but its a completely style compared to the general EU meta. Practicing is one thing, but most people can only improve as much as their opponents do.

Should be a good tournament with all the teams around the same level. Obviously Mouz is the standout but even they're very beatable for the other sides.
