FaZe take down North in two maps to advance to ELEAGUE final

FaZe have joined Astralis in tomorrow's ELEAGUE Premier grand final following a 2-0 victory over North (Mirage 16-12, Inferno 16-10).

After Astralis took down Cloud9 in the first semi-final in Atlanta, it was time for the other Danish team, North to go toe-to-toe with FaZe for the second spot in the grand final.

The series began on North's pick, Mirage, where the European mixture picked up the first pistol round as CT. The first gunrounds went back and forth, with Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså grabbing a triple-kill along the way, as FaZe kept their lead at 5-3.

The Danes then went on a streak of six rounds in a row, three of which were anti-ecos due to FaZe's abysmal economy after the teams traded rounds early on, while Håvard "rain" Nygaard ended the half for his team's sixth round.

Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer's quad-kill secured the second pistol round for FaZe, who went on to win the next three rounds, including a close 1v3 attempt from Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen. Three more rounds were then decided by 1v1 duels, with valde locking one during an eco round.

FaZe move on to the ELEAGUE Premier grand final

The score was 11 when the tide turned, as FaZe took hold of the economy. valde's heroics at 11-13, when he single-handedly snatched away a round from the European mixture by killing the planter with little time left, meant little in the end, because FaZe broke the Danes' bank and secured map one at 16-12.

FaZe won their third pistol in a row and got off to a great 5-1 start on the offense of Inferno. An eco with just CZ-75's then allowed North to climb back to a two-round deficit, but Finn "karrigan" Andersen's men soon distanced themselves again, as the Danes had to save guns twice in a row.

MSL & co. managed to save their chances by winning three out of the last four rounds, ending the half at 6-9 in favor of FaZe. rain's two crucial kills in a retake on the B bombsite then made it four out of four pistols for his team, although that time North mustered a reply in the following round's forcebuy after a bomb plant.

Two rounds later, FaZe destroyed the Danes with pistols of their own, which helped the multi-national roster to get to 14. With a successful B attack, North broke the streak, but for naught; FaZe closed out the series at 16-10.

Yeah his performance this event is unacceptable, only beating karrigan statistically He just isn't playing like he did in September. I think faze needs to kick him and bring in someone more talented

It's not that bad tbh, the only unacceptable part is the -'we'll ', but that's probably just auto correct

Well well, my smartass dude, I live in England for 6 years now, if it comes to English, i am 100% sure I have the upper hand here :). Yes, you're right, grammatically that sentence is not correct but it makes sense and that's usually enough for people. They often speak/type /write with mistakes and you can be the grammar nazi but their English is still far better than yours.

Well for starters, have lived or have been living.. I lived and worked in Aussie for over a year and i have been working internationally for over a decade now. My employer expects my English to be damn near flawless since English is the prefered language of our clients and they expects us to excell in comunicating considering how much they pay us to do what we do. So all things considered I have to be better at English than most people living there and thanks to that i can, and will, point out when someone needs to respect their own tounge. And another thing, how do you define good English if not by use of grammar and the building of a sentence?

Wether or not you're trying to prove your English is top notch, it's not special by any means. You are using words that 6 years olds consider casual in NA. To me, it doesn't look like you're better at English than average english gentleman like jonty for example. Have a nice day

Well, how you feel carries little weight compared to how my boss and associates value my use of the english language, but thanks for your input. Btw im not trying to prove shit, just pointing out that speaking and knowing a language is not the same as knowing proper grammar or how to build a correct sentence.

Astralis can win at great odds, North should have done much better.. if Astralis bring their A game I think they actually win Overpass and Inferno, maybe Mirage, even Nuke. FaZe can't relax at all here. Should be a top final, maybe EL CLASSICO tier
