LDLC replace HellRaisers at DreamHack Open Denver

Özgür "woxic" Eker was not able to secure a visa in time for DreamHack Open Denver, so HellRaisers decided to pull out from the competition. Replacing them will be LDLC.

HellRaisers will not be attending what should've been their first LAN event with this five, DreamHack Open Denver, due to a visa issue with one of their players.

woxic's LAN debut for HellRaisers has been postponed

Questions regarding the Özgür "⁠woxic⁠" Eker's visa arose at the beginning of the month when the relationship between Turkey and the United States deteriorated. The political situation lead to a change in the visa issuing policy, complicating the matter for woxic and resulting in the Turk not being able to acquire a visa in time.

HellRaisers, who failed to make the Minor last night, finishing 1-3 in the closed stage, have decided to not attend the event with a stand-in, leaving the spot open to be taken by LDLC.

The francophone squad lead by Kévin "⁠Ex6TenZ⁠" Droolans, which is currently ranked #29 in our rankings and finished 3-4th in the qualifier for DreamHack Open Denver, will be competing against the likes of Cloud9, BIG and MOUZ this weekend.

The groups for the event have not been announced yet, but are expected to be released soon.

Too many tournaments, too many replacements. (Visa, Scheduling problems, etc) This is really annoying. Especially when teams that failed to qualify still attend a tournament.

Glad to be able to see Ex6TenZ at another LAN. Not a huge event but still always a joy to watch his team play against higher tier teams. Quite painful to see the frequent chokes though... Hope it doesn't happen here.
