HellRaisers add FejtZ; Zero steps down

Just a few days after failing to make it to the European Minor, HellRaisers opted for a player change. Patrik "Zero" Žúdel will be stepping down from the active roster, with Kristjan "FejtZ" Allsaar set to take his place.

Another long-serving member of HellRaisers found himself on the chopping block following a tough blow his team received in the European Minor Closed Qualifier, where, after a win against PRIDE, HellRaisers went out with a 1-3 score—losing to Space Soldiers, AGO and Binary Dragons.

FejtZ will be playing in Europe once again

After the departure of Martin "⁠STYKO⁠" Styk and Vladyslav "⁠bondik⁠" Nechyporchuk being placed on the transfer list, it is Patrik "⁠Zero⁠" Žúdel, the 19-year-old Slovakian, that will become an inactive member of HellRaisers. The fact that the Slovakian was statistically the worst player on his team in the four Closed Qualifier maps they played—averaging a mere 0.81 rating—surely played into the decision.

In the announcement, Zero pointed out a lack of confidence as his main issue:

"After failing in too many qualifiers, it seemed like something needed to change, and that became me. As CS is a game of confidence, my confidence was decreasing exponentially for the past month and that affected my game a lot. There are multiple reasons for it - small changes in roles, graduation year of school and more personal things, but it feels like a reset will help me a lot. I will probably add a longer comment on Twitter in the future. Thanks for all the support and kind words and I wish the current roster good luck!"

The team's coach, Ivan "⁠Johnta⁠" Shevtsov, stated that letting Zero take some time off should help both parties:

"The team has had a tight schedule with lots of games over the last two months. We tried many things differently, adapted game roles and tried to understand what we could achieve with this roster. Some things worked, some didn't."

"The results of the last games made us think about some stuff and, after a long discussion, it was decided to let ZeRo take a rest in order for both parties to rethink about game stuff. At the moment we're trying FejtZ in Zero's role and he'll play the next official matches with us."

Coming in the squad is Kristjan "⁠fejtZ⁠" Allsaar, who recently returned from his Chinese foray during which he played for UYA and 5POWER. The Estonian will have his debut today, when HellRaisers will take on Astralis in EPL.

HellRaisers, who are currently 17th in our ranking and have a 8-8 score in ESL Pro League, now have the following roster:

True. But i also think that navi want to win. And they need a young star player like electronic. They lack depth at the moment. With simple and electronic being play makers, it frees edward to return to his support role and zeus to not worry about trying to make everything happen. Then flamie can just lurk till his hearts content. I also think that zero would be an excellent replacement for edward tbqh. I'm not sure what role he player on hellraisers but if he was a support then navi should definitely look at him.

A year or 2 ago i'd have agreed with you about simple. Now i feel like he's just doing his job and making plays. Zeus seems fine with being able to correctly use him, its the rest of the team that are the problems. We all saw at last major that zeus can still play at a high level when the rest of his team is doing their jobs. I think that flamie just needs less pressure on his shoulders and he will flourish in a more lurking role. Edward needs to go. Seized already gone. As i said earlier. +electronic +literally any decent support player = making navi great again.

I'd say he's the second best Estonian player, behind ropz. Hard carried every team he played for so far, great clutch player as well. This probably being his most outstanding performance: hltv.org/matches/2307554/denial-vs-royal.. It's hard to predict how it will go at a T1/T2 level though. Really glad he finally gets the chance to show everyone what he can do.

i dont think he has most potential in team but i agree on his potential is very high. but he couldnt show it in last 2 months. i almost have watched all of HR's game and i dont remember him top fragging in last 2 months. (maybe 2-3) but still i dont agree with change. he could reach his old performance.

To be fair, top fragging is an irrelevant way to judge if a player is impactful in a team. I don't know how he played recently, but Zero has the potential to be a top tier player.

I don't know if I agree that his job is top fragging. I haven't really paid attention to the dynamic of the team though. I've just always felt he was a stable, smart player who wasn't really concerned with getting high frags. But it's hard to say, since the roster has shifted around a lot in recent months.

deadfox is playing support since he gave up from awp. woxic is awp and ange1 is IGL. actually everyone has capacity for top fragging but mosty expected from ISSAA or zero. but in his statement, he said that they have changed roles recently so idk what were roles in the end.

Zero was set up to be a star player of the team with his roles, and was kicked because he was consistently having no impact and worse stats than deadfox, who is the teams hard support player. Zero used to be one of the most promising talents, but based on the past few months he definatly deserved to be benched.

Fitch is proving to be adding to the firepower alot. Also he is a good bombsite anchor. By deleting fitch you lose firepower to gain firepower. By deleting Dosia you lose a bit of experience and you add back experience + and IGL with good firepower. Don't need to think twice about that.. but ofc Dosia is an oldschool name and a nice persona. But he should go if there would be any replacements..

the point would be more about adren getting rid of the igl'ing and getting to being the best cis player, than to bring more firepower. fitch is proving to be a pretty good player, but one thing are online matches and minor tournaments, and another are major tournaments that happen twice a year. In this case i think that dosia should stay instead of fitch. One thing is for sure, gambit needs an igl for sure to arrive before the major if they want a chance to get to the playoffs
