EPICENTER viewer's guide

With EPICENTER due to start shortly, we have prepared a viewer's guide with all the information you need to know ahead of the $500,000 tournament, including schedule, on-air team and prize distribution.

Following a first event in Moscow, EPICENTER has moved to St. Petersburg for its second edition, running until Sunday and featuring ten teams, six of whom were directly invited by the organisers, Epic Esports Events.

EPICENTER 2017 will begin with a four-team wildcard stage, featuring two best-of-three series, which will determine the last two sides making it to the double-elimination group stage, in which all matches will be played in a best-of-three format.

EPICENTER is back, now in St. Petersburg

The top two teams from both groups will progress to the single-elimination knockout stages, which will culminate with the best-of-five grand final, on Sunday afternoon.

If FaZe and Liquid make it this will be the best tournament of the year, it's just a shame VP is attending. The tournament would be perfect if it was C9 or Na'Vi instead.

NaVi sucks as much as VP right now.

Yes that's true. I would put C9 in because they've shown some beautiful CS the last two tournaments, but NaVi have lots of problems atm.

I'm biased because I'm a Na'Vi fan, but you're definitely right in that Na'Vi needs a fix. S1mple is always a joy to watch though, and I still think they're better than VP for sure. C9 is the better of the 2 though, they would have the potential to get out of groups imo.
