SK cruise past Virtus.pro in Saint Petersburg
In their first match with Ricardo "boltz" Prass as a stand-in, SK swept Virtus.pro, picking up a 2-0 win (16-5 Train, 16-7 Mirage).
Virtus.pro took the early lead on their map pick, Train, despite losing the Terrorist pistol. The key was winning the second round force-up, as all of their members combined on a popdog and main split of A. SK shortly found themselves 5-1 down, but managed to add a second round to the board as Virtus.pro were ineffective with their fake of A through ivy. Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo picked up both kills on the lurkers and then rotated into B to add another one, kickstarting his team on Train.
A double from Fernando "fer" Alvarenga and Marcelo "coldzera" David chiming in saved the Brazilians from a dangerous reset in the following round and, from that point onwards, it was all about SK. FalleN's AWPing on A and fer's trademark aggression were too much for Virtus.pro to handle, their attempts to break into sites were stopped round after round. SK ended up winning pulling it back all the way to a 9-5 lead, with Ricardo "boltz" Prass adding insult to injury by clutching out a 1v2 after plant on A in the final round.
The Immortals loanee took continued with that form into the second half pistol round, killing four Virtus.pro members as his team took over A. SK didn't take the foot off the pedal, won the first gun round and closed out the first map with their 15th consecutive round win—and a 16-5 scoreline.

Another CT pistol round went SK's way, as the action switched to Mirage, but Virtus.pro quickly equalized the score at 3-3 thanks to plays by the young duo Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski and Paweł "byali" Bieliński. Filip "NEO" Kubski got three openings on the A site entry in round 8, but his team was denied the win by a 1v2 clutch from coldzera. SK extended their lead off the back of that, going 6-3 up. Virtus.pro added two more rounds to the board before the end of the half, but weren't able to tie them together, with FalleN making sure of that with an AWP qual kill in round 13.
Once again, the Brazilians finished their CT side with a 10-5 lead, and once again, a player got four kills on the Terrorist pistol—this time it was coldzera's turn to clean up the Poles as his team took over A. Virtus.pro afforded their first CT-side buy as the score was 13-5, and just a couple of seconds into the round, byali was picked off crossing towards connector by FalleN's AWP. The Brazilians capitalized on that advantage, making it 14-5, and picked up a Deagle buy round shortly after, which allowed them to stop the comeback attempt from Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas's team and close out the map 16-7.
