FeTiSh steps down from Heroic
Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen will be parting ways with Heroic due to personal reasons, the organization has announced today.
The 30-year-old Dane, who lead teams such as dignitas and Copenhagen Wolves in the early days of CS:GO, joined Heroic as a coach in May of this year, when they attended DreamHack Open Tours. Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen has been a part of the team ever since, but has now decided to step down from the position.

The announcement comes after a flurry of disappointing results for HEROIC; they failed to make it to the European Minor for the second time in a row, lost to North at the ELEAGUE Premier playoffs—that FeTiSh was unable to attend—, and most recently, lost to Fragsters in the Danish WESG qualifier.
FeTiSh addressed his departure in the official announcement:
"First of all, it has been a pleasure working with the Heroic players. It has been a great learning process for all, and we’ve accomplished some really good things together as individuals and as a team. Also working RFRSH and experiencing the organization’s attitude towards the game, players, training and working as true professionals has been a great experience for me, and I can only say, I’d wish I had the opportunity to work in such an environment when I was an active player. We have certainly come a long way since I started."
"I leave the team to focus on other things, including my family which also forced me to stay at home for personal reasons during the ELEAGUE tournament, but I would like to thank all the Heroic players and RFRSH, and I wish nothing but the best for all of them. I am sure the team will bounce right back from this and fulfill their potential."
Kasper Hvidt, the Director of Sports at RFRSH Entertainment, HEROIC's parent company, announced that they are looking for a new hire:
"It has been a pleasure working with Henrik, both as a person and as a professional. Heroic is a group of very skilled players with great potential, and I have no doubt, he would have been able to bring the team even closer to the top in the rankings."
"We have had some really good talks about the situation, and I respect Henrik’s decision to direct his focus where he is needed, and we wish him all the best."
"We will now be actively searching for a new coach with the capacity to continue the work towards fulfilling Heroic’s full potential under the RFRSH Performance model."
The Danish squad is now down to just the five players:
Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen
Jakob "JUGi" Hansen
Patrick "es3tag" Hansen
Andreas "MODDII" Fridh
Henrik 'FeTiSh' Christensen
