CIS Minor viewer's guide

The CIS Minor Championship will start in less than 24 hours, so we have prepared a viewer's guide with all the information you need about the event, including full schedule and on-air team.

The PGL Studios, in Bucharest, will host until Sunday the CIS Minor Championship, where eight teams will face off for two spots at the offline qualifier for the next CS:GO Major plus their cut of a $50,000 prize pool.

Spirit and Tengri were directly invited to attend the Minor and thus managed to skip the online qualifiers, which were marred by cheating allegations. In the end, two last-minute replacements had to be found as FONTAN and Fantazeri could not attend the event, citing visa issues.

The CIS Minor will kick off with a GSL group stage, featuring a best-of-three format in the elimination and the decider matches. The top two teams from both groups will progress to the double-elimination playoffs, with all matches being played in a best-of-three format.

Not sure if troll or braindead. Since they won last major, they've got the Legends status that gives every team in the playoffs a direct place in the next major if a team keeps at least 3 of its members.

it's pointless to have minors at all, because almost every europe team is better than teams from other regions (i'm not talking about top tier teams) or give more invites/places for europe
