CIS Minor - ELEAGUE Major 2018pro100 through to CIS Minor playoffs
pro100 have secured their passage to the knockout stages of the CIS Minor after beating Nemiga and Spirit.
Day one of the CIS Minor Championship, taking place at the PGL Studios, in Bucharest, began with a one-sided match as Spirit made light work of NOTBAD, with Vadim "DavCost" Vasilyev leading the charge with an impressive 2.09 Rating.
The next opening match, featuring Nemiga and pro100 was keenly-contested in the first half, but a strong display from the Ukrainian side after the break saw them overturn a 9-6 deficit despite Kirill "hitMouse" Tsarev putting up big numbers (27 kills and a 1.44 Rating).
In the winners' match, which was played on Nuke, pro100 took nine rounds into the second half after a solid CT side. Spirit came back fighting and managed to equalise the game at 13-13, but then Vadim "Flarich" Karetin's men rallied back on eco, breaking their opponents' economy and setting themselves up for the win.
