AVANGAR move on to CIS Minor playoffs

FORZE and AVANGAR moved on to the Group B winners' match after beating Tengri and Quantum Bellator Fire, respectively, in today's openers.

The Kazakh squad kicked off Mirage on the right foot, securing the first four rounds of the game as Terrorists. Emil "⁠kUcheR⁠" Akhundov's squad would then respond with three rounds in their favour, but, from that point, AVANGAR only lost three more to reach half-time with a 9-6 lead.

In the second half, it were the Kazakhs who picked up the pistol round once again. Although FORZE then won three rounds in a row as they bought weapons, AVANGAR did not want to give them any room for manoeuvre.

With the 18-year-old Aleksei "⁠Qikert⁠" Golubev topping the scoreboard with a 1.60 Rating, AVANGAR went on to lock down the map, 16-9, to book their spot in the event's playoffs.
