TyLoo edge out Flash for a Major Qualifier spot
TyLoo defeated Flash in the consolidation final at the Asia Minor 2-1 (16-6 Inferno, 12-16 Cache, 16-14 Cobblestone), securing a top two spot and a ticket for the ELEAGUE 2018 Major Main Qualifier.
Andrew "kaze" Khong and QiFang "Karsa" Su opened up the first map of the series, Inferno, with a couple of kills on both the pistol round and the followup anti-eco. However, as TYLOO came in with the early buy thanks to their pistol round bomb plant, KunHua "LOVEYY" Bai's side was able to take control on the Terrorist side of their map pick.
TYLOO then had a run of 11 Terrorist side rounds in a row, finishing the half 12-3 up in the end. Flash did their best to make a comeback by taking the second pistol, but couldn't even close out the two anti-pistol rounds as Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk picked up three with a combination of a CZ-75 and a stolen AK47 (13-5). TYLOO then had no issues closing out the remaining three rounds on the CT side, making the map one score 16-6.

The second map, Cache, had Flash show off some of their own T-side domination. After a 5-1 start, YuLun "Summer" Cai and kaze resolved a 2v2 after plant to deal a crucial blow to TYLOO's economy. That eased it up for Karsa's team and they ran away with the first half. It was 11-1 when dd picked up a double entry to start a spurt of three round wins for his team, ending the half 11-4.
It looked like the second map was done and dusted as Flash picked up another pistol round, extending the lead to 13-4. Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu's team held their composure, though, and utilized a lot of slow rounds and A executes to claw their way back into the map. Flash struggled to cope with that, and their low economy didn't help. They finally found a solution as the score came to 14-12 and got to match point with a team ace, finishing the series shortly after.
Summer and LOVEYY shined in the pistol round on Cobblestone, but it was kaze who was the star in the first half of the third map. The Malaysian picked up an ace with the MAG-7 in the anti-eco, farming up money for the AWP and then farming up kills with the big green gun. Flash shortly took the 7-1 lead, while bondik picked up two key kills in round 9 to get something back for his squad.
TYLOO managed a few rounds in a row there, making it 7-4, but kaze, came back into it with the AWP, secured some openings, and broke the 20 kill mark as his team to finished the half 11-4 up.
Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand stepped up when needed, getting the final two in the pistol retake to open up the map for his side. BnTeT and HaoWen "somebody" Xu both surpassed 20 kills shortly, as their team brought it back to 13-11, just a two round difference. Flash took the following round with a B execute, but couldn't tie it together as their following A push was well-read and closed out (14-13). At that point, Flash's economy was totally reset, and they opted for incomplete buys that didn't work out, letting TYLOO to complete the comeback and finish the map 16-14.
