Renegades defeat TyLoo 2-0; win Asia Minor
Renegades take the Asia Minor title over TyLoo after two closely contested maps (Cache 16-14, Train 16-12).
The Chinese side started with a 4-1 lead on their map pick, Cache, before allowing Renegades an early foothold by dropping the ball against an eco B rush. The Australians then took it to just a single round difference before Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand showed up with a hat trick to get things rolling for TYLOO again.
After picking their fourth round, Renegades weren't able to close out the 1v2 against HaoWen "somebody" Xu which lead to them being reset and TYLOO going up to 9-4. That is when Keith "NAF" Markovic opened up the B site on the lurk, single-handedly winning them the round, but Renegades were unable to capitalize on their opponent's weak buy in the follow-up as somebody clutched another 1v2 to make it 10-5.
Adding the second pistol made it look like it was all set for TYLOO to take map one, but it didn't turn out that way. Renegades brought it back from a 13-5 deficit as their defenses held strong against TYLOO's fast-paced, execute-heavy rounds. The Chinese side slowed it down as the score was 13-11, Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk and BnTeT got some picks, but the round was lost to Noah "Nifty" Francis—who had another great round and picked up a 4K on A.
TYLOO was able to add another round after Renegades got to match point, and in the end Ke "captainMo" Liu and co. looked poised to take it into overtime as they took control of B. However, NAF showed up with three kills, resolving the 1v2 to finish it 16-14.

Once again TYLOO pick up the pistol round, starting as CT's on Train, but Renegades were the ones to take the early lead. What could've been a great half was compromised by sloppy play from the Australian side, as they lost equipment unnecessarily in round 8 (5-3) and then failed an anti-eco on A in the following one.
With Renegades' money in tatters, TYLOO took control of the first half and finished it with a 9-6 lead as captainMo closed out the final round with the AWP in ivy.
Another strong CT side from Renegades followed after the switch, spearheaded by NAF who picked up doubles round after round. The Canadian added a crucial clutch in round 25 that gave his side the lead and Renegades were able to close it out from there, making the score 16-12 on Train and 2-0 for the series.
