cogu leaves Gorilla Core

Raphael "cogu" Camargo is no longer part of Gorilla Core's active roster, the North American organisation has announced.

The Brazilian veteran's future had been the source of conjecture after he missed the team's most recent matches, including the WCA North America quarter-final encounter against CLG.

In a statement to ESPN Esports Brasil, Gorilla Core revealed that Raphael "⁠cogu⁠" Camargo decided, "of his own accord", to leave the team, with the player due to shed more light on the matter soon.

The North American organisation added that cogu is still under a contract and stressed that it is ready to listen to offers for the former Made in Brazil talent.

cogu has requested to leave Gorilla Core's active roster

cogu has been part of Gorilla Core since April, when his team signed for the North American organisation after previously representing Dai Dai Gaming. Since joining Gorilla Core, the team has most notably won ESEA Open Season 25, earning direct entry into the North American Premier division.

Filipe "⁠fp1⁠" Caires has been filling in for cogu in recent matches, but Gorilla Core have not yet stated whether the 22-year-old will join the team on a permanent basis.

The Brazilian team's roster currently looks as follows:

Immortals should have this lineup: Steel - IGL Cogu - AWP Felps - Star player Destiny - Entry Horvy - Support/Second AWP It's a lot better than the actual Immortals, a good mix of youth and experience, and decent enough to rebuild IMT from scratch.

I've always put my work at the head of everything in my life and I've always charged myself too much on CS, but it's been a while since I haven't been able to show my real style of playing, which feels like my erformance has fallen by trying to adapt to a style of playing which is not mine.
