jkaem to miss WESG EU & CIS Regional Finals

Former G2 and FaZe member Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad will not attend the WESG EU & CIS Regional Finals with NOREG, HLTV.org has learned.

The 23-year-old, who is currently without a team after being released by dignitas earlier in the month, will be replaced by BX3 member Haakon "⁠Radifaction⁠" Tholo at the Spanish event.

NOREG, who feature three other former dignitas members, qualified for the WESG EU & CIS Regional event after defeating Finnish side VITALIS in the grand final of the qualifier held for teams from the Baltics region and from Scandinavia.

jkaem will not play at the WESG regional, in Barcelona

The Norwegian team have been drawn in Group A alongside GODSENT, Ukraine, North Academy and Endpoint. Their first match in the $92,500 competition will see them take on the British side, on November 23 at 10:00 .

With Radifaction's addition, NOREG will attend the WESG regional with:

He is good. There's alot of talent outside highest tier of the game, some might never reach their potential due to different circumstances. I've seen him play and the sky is the limit for Radifactions talent. It's hard to break through in the scene, so he will probably have to keep at it until someone renown decides to give him a chance, it might be this or it might be later. Some have to wait years for a chance or to even get noticed.

Not sure. I’m thinking dig might be taking some time at this point to figure out there next move instead of rushing in to pick up a squad. I wouldn’t be suprised if they go to NA like they stated when they dropped their danish roster

lol my cat was in TSM long time ago, I remember as it was yesterday, then he fell out of the window and broke his nose. jkaem was the best player skillwise in that team, but i actually kinda like the fact that young talents like Radifaction and Marcelious will be able to play at a decent event together with a seasoned player like Rubino. Could be great for norwegian cs to have some up and coming players breaking out. Rubino would be wise to leave his international projects, although i understand he wants to play at big events again.. A lot of the young players prob admire his achievements, would be awesome if he could help the norwegian scene rise again

jkaem downfall was joining the international team it stopped his development completely. He was a rising star and should have stayed in a mid tier team as their main fragger. He was destroyed in becoming the 3rd best player in a team which gave him no role.
