ESWC Cheonan registration open

The registration for the ESWC Masters event taking place from the 2nd to the 5th of May in Cheonan, South Korea has been opened.

A few days ago we reported about the ESWC masters event taking place in South Korea in the start of may, today ESWC opened the registration and several top teams have already signed up to battle for the $30.000 and the three lucrative ESWC Grand Final spots.

Top teams signed up so far:

There is room for a total of 12 international teams, so more top teams could possibly find their way to the first ESWC Masters event of the year.

It may not be financially viable but x3o has always been one of the best organizations to be represented by. They strive to allow their players to play against the best internationally and a lot of the other American organizations never go over seas unless they qualify and have trips paid for.

The Polish are representing heavy today. Im calling the upset of the top 3, Crack Clan will make it in. With a new organization and new motivation with SpikeOne they will surprise some people. They always have a good streak when they changed organizations.

And this time CC should have enough time to practise before the event aswell. Because as lurppis said, they hadn't really practised/prepared much for EM3, cuz they weren't supposed to attend at all in the first place.

No coL. As an American that pays a lot of attention to our leagues coL would be wasting money taking that trip. They have one last chance to prove themselves at the Kode 5 qualifier this weekend but this is a lineup that was created based on big names and they dont have the chemistry to be a team that can compete internationally.

I would really like to see them expand the international teams from 12 to atleast 16. From the look of the registered teams it seems like all the top teams in the world have signed up.
