EnVyUs defeat mousesports to secure semi-final spot at DreamHack Winter

Envy was off to a good start on the Terrorist side, as, after going up 3-0, Adil "⁠ScreaM⁠" Benrlitom won a 1v2 to extend his team's lead on Train. After losing seven rounds in a row, MOUZ got on the board as Robin "⁠ropz⁠" Kool and Tomáš "⁠oskar⁠" Šťastný picked up a kill each on the B site defense. However, after being reset in the following round by a fast outer push, MOUZ found themselves in an extremely tough situation, with no money and an 8-1 deficit.

The last key round of the half was the 12th one, where oskar found an entry on Vincent "⁠Happy⁠" Schopenhauer, who was lurking on A, but his teammates weren't able to shut down the B site push. With Cédric "⁠RpK⁠" Guipouy leading the charge, Envy finished the half 13-2 up.

It took a while for EnVyUs to close out the game on the CT side

A hat-trick from oskar in the second pistol round gave MOUZ a lifeline, and Martin "⁠STYKO⁠" Styk's entry in the first gun round allowed them to add more rounds to their name. ScreaM's double in round 21 moved Envy to 14 rounds and the Frenchmen almost got to match point in the following one, but Christophe "⁠SIXER⁠" Xia wasted crucial seconds that cost him the defuse.

Chris "⁠chrisJ⁠" de Jong and co. got to 12 rounds before Envy were able to finally close out the match, taking Train 16-12 to move on to the semi-final of DreamHack Open Winter.
