zakk: "Open to offers"

The 27-year-old is currently a free agent after Immortals decided to pull the plug on their team and take the next couple of the months to reevaluate their position in the Counter-Strike scene.

Rafael "⁠zakk⁠" Fernandes signed for Immortals in June 2016 alongside the Tempo Storm roster, which would go on to win that year's DreamHack Summer event. The team would scale even greater heights in 2017, peaking with a final appearance at PGL Major Krakow.

However, the team ended up falling apart as a result of internal issues, and Immortals turned to young talents in an effort to keep their squad competitive, but without success.

"I got many things right and made a lot of mistakes, we are all human so this is something normal, but I learned a lot with everything that I went through with our team," he wrote in a Twitlonger post.

"Despite the falling-outs with some of the players, I still wish them all the best of luck because I know how hard they have worked, so they deserve [to be successful].

"About our last line-up, our plan was to have a team that could be ready to compete to be in the top three in North America in mid-2018, so we paid no attention to criticism.

"We were together for a short period of time, but I loved working with destiny, shz, zqk and horvy. They are kids with a lot of talent and so eager to grow that it makes you want to work 24/7 to achieve your goals.

"Immortals chose another path, so I am announcing that I am open to offers."
